WWOOF Week 4

Today was the last day of week 4 of WWOOFing at Dulcamara. Now that there’s a lot planted, there is a lot of weeding to do, which can be exhausting work.

Today we set up some tubing to irrigate the fields. Untangling the tubing was what we call a casino (a mess!)

I also rode in a trailer behind a tractor, which is scarier than it sounds as we were off-roading it quite a bit.

Our last task of the day was picking cherries. It was a long day and my eyes hurt from squinting in the sun. But when I was rewarded with a carton of cherries as I left, all of the hard work seemed worth it. Nom nom nom!
