We headed back to Brisighella last Thursday to refill our 5 liter jug of olive oil at the Cooperativa Agricola Brisighellese.


We stopped by the Rocca (castle), built in 1228.


And the Torre dell’Orologio (clock tower)


We ate lunch at Locanda La Cavallina. I had the lunch special — a single plate with antipasto, primo, secondo, and contorno along with water, wine, & coffee for 10Euro. I requested a vegetarian plate, which included bruschetta with tomato and mozzarella, risotto with parmesan and sangiovese, beet puree topped with a cardoon sauce, and carrots & potatoes.


I also got a bite of my cousins dessert. I don’t remember what it was, but it was reminiscent of tiramisu with a layer of mascarpone as well as a scoop of coffee gelato.
