Climbing walls again

Finally hit the climbing gym in Italy after over two years of no climbing.  We went to UP Urban Climbing (Via del Fonditore 1/5).  It was quite a different experience than my climbing gym in Seattle, where they are super vigilant and make anyone who climbs in the gym take a belay test and anyone who wants to lead or lead belay take another test.  Here in Bologna, there were no questions asked.  There were no top ropes set up and people are expected to bring their own rope  (though you can rent one there).  The guy working there was nice enough to set up our first rope for us since I was nervous about leading.  It felt good to climb again.  And I loved seeing the route names in Italian.  polpetta = meatball.  braccio di ferro = tug of war
