Eating in #Abruzzo

On our drive home from Molise, we used the Trip Advisor iPhone app to find somewhere to stop for lunch and ended up at this gem of a restaurant in Abruzzo in San Salvo.  I had the fusill’oro pasta with artichokes, parmigiano, and toasted bread.  Fusill’oro is a pasta made by producer Verrigini and the pasta is cut using gold!    Luke had the chitarrina pasta with cicorietta, ricotta, and caciocavallo.  To start, they gave us a complimentary taste of asparagus soup topped with ricotta.  It was all delicious.
